Training Officer (THW)

The training officer is a member of the OV staff of the Federal Agency for Technical Relief . He is responsible for coordinating and monitoring high quality basic and on-site training in the local association. To this end, he determines the focus of training, plans and conducts training events, manages training documents and participates in the supply of courses. He is supported in his work by local training staff and coordinates his approach with the THW office. The appointment of the training officer takes place after the suggestion of the local officer by the head of the responsible regional office.

During operations, the training officer can take on a staff function in the management and coordination staff of the local association.
