Derunta training camp

The Derunta training camp (also " Derunta ") was an Islamist military training and education camp affiliated with al-Qaeda, 25 kilometers from Jalalabad in eastern Afghanistan .

In 1999 the camp was destroyed by a bomb attack. Allegedly, the head of the Egyptian camp was Midhat Mursi as-Sayyid Umar .
