Lending library
The lending library (in Austria also: borrowing library ) is a library where, in contrast to the reference library, media can be borrowed. Certain loan and reservation periods apply to library users, which may be subject to a fee. A current user ID from the respective library is required for use. Examples of lending libraries are the city and state libraries, the university libraries and the state libraries.
