Austin Grossman (born June 26, 1969 in Concord ) is an American book author and game developer , he lives in Brooklyn and San Francisco .

Austin Grossman is the twin brother of the writer Lev and brother of the artist Bathesba Grossman . His parents are the poet Allen and the author Judith Grossman . Grossman studied English literature at Harvard University until 1991 and is now aiming for a doctorate in it.

Books

Austin Grossman's first book, Soon I will be Invincible , was published in 2007 by Pantheon Books. In it, a group of superheroes competes against a super villain. The book was first published by Knaur in May 2010 under the title Dr. Impossible Strikes Back (A Superhero Novel) . His second book You: A Novel was published in 2013 .

Computer games

Grossman's first position as a game developer was Looking Glass Studios in May 1992. He later worked for Ion Storm and Crystal Dynamics, among others .
