The Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) is an Australian organization dedicated to promoting the library and information sector.

The approximately 4,200 members also include 800 institutional members.

In terms of content, the company is devoted, among other things, to library training. Journals, including the Australian Library Journal and AARL (Australian Academic & Research Libraries), are published for this purpose. It also organizes various conference series, for example the ALIA National Library and Information Technicians Conference.
