Evaluation function

The evaluation function is called:

• in set theory a mapping that assigns a function its function value at a certain point, see projection (set theory)
• in logic a mapping of the set of formulas of a language into the set of truth values, see propositional logic # semantics
• in statistics a routine within a program package for data analysis
