Car headliner (classic version)

As headliners , including headliner or shortly sky , the inner lining is called a fixed car roof. It is part of the vehicle equipment . Classic car headliners are made of a special fabric that is attached to the metal roof of the car with the help of wire brackets and adhesive that dries up clearly . The hangers are pushed into sewn-in pockets above the sky; they provide the curved shape of the sky. Plastic shells coated with textile are clipped into modern cars .

The inner lining of a movable car roof (e.g. in a convertible or roadster) is known as the inner top.
