Aviméta

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Aviméta ( Société pour la construction d'AVIons METAlliques ) was the aviation division of the Schneider-Creusot -Werke. The name comes from the fact that the French company focused on the production of aircraft in metal construction. They mainly used an alloy that was patented under the name Alférium . Since the company did not receive any more orders, it was closed in 1929.
