Avitta Bibba

Avitta Bibba was an ancient city in North Africa in the Roman province of Africa proconsularis near today's Henchir Bou Ftis in Tunisia.

The city was on the road from Agbia to Pupput . Their constitution was originally shaped by the Carthaginians ; since Hadrian Avitta Bibba was a Roman municipality .

The titular diocese of Avitta Bibba of the Roman Catholic Church goes back to a late antique bishopric of the city .
