description

The building was built on the green field on the southern edge of Perth. When designing the late-modern building, the focus was on the harmony of the building with the landscape while at the same time allowing flexible use of the interior. Due to height restrictions, the reinforced concrete building was built into the slope and terraced. Its floor plan is divided into modules measuring 10 × 10 m. It is embedded in a system of gardens and park-like green areas that were created with the construction. Two sculptures by George Wyllie adorn the main entrance .
