Awilco Offshore was a Norwegian company with headquarters in Oslo .

Awilco Offshore builds and operates oil platforms . The company was formed in February 2005 when it took over the offshore oil sector from the Anders Wilhelmsen Group and at the same time acquired NOK . In April 2005, Awilco Offshore acquired 20.7 percent of the Petrojack company . In December 2005, Awilco merged with Offshore Rig Services .

In July 2008, China Oilfield Services made a US $ 2.5 billion tender offer for Awilco Offshore, which the company accepted. The takeover was completed in September 2008 and Awilco Offshore was fully integrated into the existing group structure.
