axact is a software company from Pakistan that is accused of running a large number of Internet presences for invented schools and universities as a title mill , whose degrees are sold to customers around the world via the Internet.

Revelations

In May 2015, the published New York Times an article in the AXACT was accused of hundreds of Internet sites of fictional schools, universities, a law firm, and to operate other devices including associated telephone services, and fictional accounts, and other identification papers to pass .

According to its own statements, the Times identified at least 370 different websites with pages from schools, universities and admissions offices, which it assigned to axact. The reporters published the names of the institutions on the Internet.

On May 27, 2015, it was reported that Axact founder Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh had been arrested by the Pakistani Federal Investigation Authority (FIA).
