Wolf Girl & Black Prince

オ オ カ ミ 少女 と 黒 王子 ( Ōkami shōjo to kuro ōji ) is Hatta's main work. It appeared from 2011 to 2016 in the manga magazine Bessatsu Margaret of the Shūeisha publishing house and comprises 16 volumes as a tankōbon edition. The series is about the 17-year-old Erika, who claims to be in a relationship with her attractive classmate Kyōya out of appreciation for her school friends. So that the vertigo doesn't get exposed, she secretly asks him to fake the relationship. Kyōya agrees, but takes advantage of the situation to be mean to her and order her around. Soon, however, Erika and Kyōya actually fall in love and become real lovers.

The manga was adapted as a radio play, anime television series and real film. The anime series comprises 12 episodes, which only cover the plot of the first six manga volumes. The film was released in Japan in 2016; The director was the experienced Ryūichi Hiroki , while the male lead was starred by the well-known young star Kento Yamazaki (including L DK , Orange , Your Lie in April ). The manga was published in German by Kazé .

Bye-bye Liberty

With four volumes, ば い ば い リ バ テ ィ ー ( Bai bai ribatī ) is Hatta's second longest manga to date. Initially, the series also appeared in Bessatsu Margaret from 2016 to 2017. This story, too, is about a schoolgirl and her schoolmates who at first don't like each other and only find each other via detours. This time it is the girl, Rina or Lina, who at first has no interest in love in general and the neighbor boy Takumi in particular. To fend off a pushy admirer, however, Takumi pretends to be Rina's friend and kisses her. For Rina, however, Takumi is nothing more than an unsympathetic ladyboy. Only gradually does Rina's attitude towards Takumi change.

The German edition has been published by Kazé since 2019.
