from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As Bearded iron is any spears and skewers whose blades with barbs are provided. The barbs are used to hold the weapon in the body of the enemy or the prey. Since the blade cannot be easily removed, mobility is impaired and there is high blood loss. This type of weapon was used all over the world.
