The Büchereiperspektiven is an Austrian specialist library journal in German and is published by the Austrian Library Association . The magazine was founded in 1984 and appears four times a year.
In addition to one main topic per issue, the magazine provides information on various topics in the specialist library world, with the focus being on the target group of public libraries . Information on basic and advanced training courses offered by the Austrian Library Association is published as well as conference reports and reviews of specialist library literature.
Since 2005 the library perspectives have also been published in an electronic edition.
