The BBA - Akademie der Immobilienwirtschaft e. V., Berlin (BBA), based in Roxy-Palast in the Schöneberg district of Berlin, is an institution in the field of professional training for the housing and real estate industry in the form of an association. It was founded in 1993 by the BBU Association of Berlin-Brandenburg Housing Companies e. V. and the BFW Landesverband Independent Real Estate and Housing Companies Berlin / Brandenburg e. V. founded. As an association, it is now supported by over 320 members (as of April 2020), most of whom are companies from the real estate industry. With its sector-specific training and further education offers, the BBA is one of the leading academies for the real estate industry.

Educational offers

The BBA's range of services extends from the private vocational school for real estate salespeople, which is funded by the State of Berlin as a state-recognized substitute school, through courses, seminars and specialist conferences to Bachelor and Master’s courses. Educational offers can also be booked as in-house qualifications. The offer is rounded off by in-house individual coaching, management meetings and educational trips as well as individual personnel and organizational development measures.

The lecturers include experts from the fields of business, science and research who have extensive practical and teaching experience in their respective fields. The BBA is in constant dialogue with the industry. The conception and organization of the offered events are thus in a dynamic process of further development, which guarantees a constant adaptation of the educational formats to the needs of the market. As a non-profit association, the BBA does not focus on maximizing profits, but rather aligns its work exclusively with providing the best possible educational offer. In doing so, it is based on the principles of the social market economy and takes into account the different provider and work structures as well as the associated business models of its customers. The surpluses of the BBA flow into the new and further development of educational products, over which its members can have a say.
