BC Montfort Feldkirch
The Badminton Club Montfort Feldkirch , or BC Montfort Feldkirch for short , is a badminton club from Feldkirch in Austria .
history
The association was founded on October 31, 1973. Through the regional game operations in Vorarlberg, qualifications were made for the national Austrian level in the individual disciplines as early as the 1970s. The first team was promoted to the Austrian Badminton Bundesliga in 2010 , but could not keep the class and played in the 2nd Bundesliga for seven years before being promoted back to the 1st Bundesliga. In 2013 and 2018 the club hosted the Austrian championship .
In 2017 Serena Au Yeong and Sabrina Herbst won the state championship in women's doubles. This was the club's first national championship title. In 2018 they were able to defend the title in front of a home crowd.
