The BFW-3 Marabu was a single-engine light aircraft made by Bayerische Flugzeugwerke in the 1920s.

history

The BFW-3a Marabu built as well as the BFW-1 Sperber on the Udet U 12 on. It was also planned as a two-seat training aircraft . The only model aircraft of this type was WerkNr. 352 , which had the civil registration D-925. It first flew in 1927 and was certified in February. In June 1928 the Marabu was sold to the Deutsche Verkehrsfliegerschule GmbH and flew in Königsberg from August 1928 . Her whereabouts are unknown.
