BSI CRM is customer relationship management software . It contains modules for sales, marketing, service, contact center and reporting. BSI CRM is available both on premise and on demand and runs on the usual (Java) application servers and databases. BSI CRM is the most widely used Swiss CRM solution and is used, for example, by companies such as Swiss Post, ABB, M-net or UBS.

BSI CRM offers a contact center module. Incoming calls can be identified using the data in CRM and any processes can be linked to the respective customers in CRM. This data is then in turn available for marketing purposes.

A special feature regarding data protection was built in for a German customer ( Lidl ): Personal data is hardly ever collected; if they are needed, they will be deleted after a certain time.

BSI CRM can serve as a data source for BSI Studio. BSI Studio is a tool for creating and managing so-called customer journeys . There, the data can be further processed with the help of artificial intelligence: The "machine learning engine" BSI Brains allows the training of neural networks for various tasks such as recognizing customer concerns in incoming e-mails, or a recommendation engine with the participants Events can be networked with each other according to interests.

history

The first version of BSI CRM came onto the market in 1996, at that time based on SQLWindows . In 2000 the software was reprogrammed in Java and in 2008 it was converted to SOA and Eclipse RCP . In 2009 campaign management was greatly expanded (SMS connection and e-mail integration, budget control, measurement of target achievement). In 2010 the framework on which BSI CRM is based was published under the name Eclipse Scout under the Eclipse Public License . With Eclipse Neon, the Eclipse Scout Framework was changed to an HTML web frontend in 2015 and accordingly BSI CRM Indigo is no longer a Swing application, but uses an HTML user interface.
