Maris Pfeiffer
Maris Pfeiffer (born November 3, 1962 in Düren ) is a German film director .
Life
Maris Pfeiffer spent much of her childhood in São Paulo. After graduating from the Taunus Gymnasium in Königstein , Maris Pfeiffer studied social anthropology from 1982 to 1983 at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro . From 1984 to 1991 she studied at the University of Television and Film in Munich, Columbia University New York and the Munich Screenwriting Workshop . From 1992 to 1998 she was a lecturer at the HFF Munich and from 1998 to 2006 lecturer at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy in the field of directing. Pfeiffer has been a part-time professor for feature film at the Art Academy for Media Cologne (KHM) since 2017 .
