The B 2000 (German for bayonet 2000 ) is a bayonet and multi-purpose knife from the manufacturer Carl Eickhorn from Solingen . It is used by the Dutch and Canadian armies . The bayonet is insulated for an electrical voltage of up to 1000 volts and can be converted into a wire cutter with the sheath. The B 2000 is equipped with a clip-point blade made of 55Si7 (HRC 51-53) steel. The Dutch army uses the designation Multifunctioneel Gevechtsmes Eickhorn (Bayonet System 2005) .
