Fadera stood in the 2012 parliamentary election as a candidate for the Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC) in the constituency of Kiang Central in the Mansa Konko Administrative Area . With 51.17% he was able to win the constituency in front of the independent candidate Babanding KK Daffeh . Fadera did not run as a candidate for the 2017 parliamentary election .
