The jaw crusher spoon (also crusher spoon, crusher shovel, bucket crusher, spoon crusher, eco-crusher, bucket crusher) is an attachment for excavators with an integrated jaw crusher . The jaw crusher bucket has the shape of an excavator bucket, but is not primarily used to lift bulk material, but can use its built-in crushing jaws to crush rubble and let the crushed material out at the bottom. Compared to normal jaw crushers, the jaw crusher bucket has a lower production, but can be transported more easily and only needs an excavator to operate.

The jaw crusher bucket works with the excavator's hydraulic pump . The hoses of the excavator for the oil inlet and outlet are connected directly to the crusher bucket. A hydraulic block regulates the oil flow and pressure to deliver the correct amount to the hydraulic motor . The movement is transferred to one of the two crushing jaws, the other stops.

During the crushing process, the crushing spoon is positioned vertically so that the material can fall out below. The distance between the jaws can be adjusted differently, usually from 20mm to 150mm. There are different breaker spoons that differ in their size and weight. Jaw crusher buckets are suitable for standard excavators.
