Badenstrasse 1 (Stralsund)
The house with the postal address Badenstrasse 1 is a listed building on Badenstrasse in Stralsund .
The four-story, three-axle house was built in 1782. In 1930 it was connected to the neighboring house at Badenstrasse 2 through a shop on the ground floor. In essence, the house is much older. The plastered facade has an attic-like finish.
Until construction work began on Rathausplatz, a memorial plaque for the victims of the bombing raid on Stralsund on October 6, 1944 was placed on the side facing Ossenreyerstraße .
The house is located in the core area of the city area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 51.
