Badgini

Badgini (also: Bajini ) was a sultanate on the island of Grande Comore . The M'Dombozi clan ruled independently until 1886, when Sultan Said Ali bin Said Omar of Bambao took control and incorporated it into his united Ngazidja Sultanate. Throughout history, women have ruled the sultanate several times.
