history
The Danish railway architect Heinrich Wenck was responsible for the architecture .
Redesign
At the end of the 2010s, the station was rebuilt and has since been a transfer station between the Copenhagen metro , S-tog and regional and long-distance services. Østerport station is the end of an hourly intercity line to Esbjerg .
