Psyrzcha ( Russian Псырцха , Abkhaz Ҧсырӡха / Psyrdscha [/ psərʣxa /] Georgian ფსირცხა / Psirzcha) is a stop on the main line of the Abkhazian railway , the border station Psou (border with Russia ) in the northwest to the border station Ingur (border with the Georgian region of Samegrelo - Semo-Svaneti) connects with each other.

location

The stop is named after the river Psyrzcha , which flows directly past the station and flows not far into the Black Sea . The station is one of the two train stations of Achali Atoni and is located in the west of the urban area. Most of the sights of Achali Atoni are close by, such as the Anakopija fortress, the large karst cave and the monastery.

The Psyrzcha stop is known for its special location. It lies between two tunnels and its station building, which consists of a pavilion, protrudes into the river on the side facing away from the tracks.

traffic

In the past, a suburban train stopped in both directions in Psyrzcha every day. However, operations were stopped due to the poor condition of the tracks and the running material.
