The former shoulder blade station

The at the Hamburg-Altona link line located station scapula near the same road was opened on 30 September. 1865 Initially, it was only intended for freight traffic, but with the complete completion of the connecting line a year later on July 16, 1866, passenger traffic began. The two-story station building stood southeast of the tracks on what was then the parallel street , today's Eifflerstraße.

The extensive changes planned at the time to the Altona station grounds from 1890 on, however, included the abandonment of the station scapula. Its closure took place on April 30, 1893, after goods traffic had been stopped two years earlier.

As a replacement, Holstenstrasse station, 700 meters further west, was put into operation immediately with the closure of the shoulder blade station .
