BAHNmax - The Railway Travel Magazine is a free advertising - magazine , focusing primarily on the customers of the Austrian Federal Railways directed. The publisher and media owner of the magazine is the advertising agency VOPAG Kundenbindungssysteme GmbH , based in Klagenfurt .

The magazine deals with the subject of mobility, vacation and leisure from the perspective of rail travelers. In addition to these topics, events and special seasonal topics form a focus.

It appears four times a year with a print run of 50,000, with 5,000 copies appearing each time, some in the languages ​​of the neighboring EU countries Italy, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary. This depends on the advertising space booked in these languages. The magazine is available in all IC and EC trains operated by ÖBB.

history

The magazine was published for the first time in autumn 2003 under the title “Club & Bonus Magazin” and was originally intended to be sent free of charge to all ÖBB frequent travelers who have an ÖBB Vorteilscard . The publisher and media owner was VorteilsClub Austria Kundenbindungssysteme AG. Since March 2007 the magazine has been published under the title BAHNmax.
