The Baierwein Museum is a museum about the history of viticulture in Old Bavaria, in particular of Baierwein in the Upper Palatinate municipality of Bach on the Danube .

The museum, opened in 1998, is set up in a bidding house from the 14th century and contains one of the oldest wine presses in Germany, dating back to 1615. In May 2008, an extension was built with numerous exhibits on viticulture from the region and a significantly larger one Information offer opened, and the outdoor facilities redesigned. The process of pressing wine is explained in a computer animation in the press house. In the annex you can see the traditional equipment of viticulture such as grape grinder, screw press or wine filter, as well as a historical outline of viticulture on blackboards and film screenings. At the museum vineyard there is a wine trail with an explanation of the most important grape varieties in the region.
