The Capilla de la Balesquida is a chapel in Oviedo in the autonomous community of Asturias in northwestern Spain .

It is located on the edge of the Plaza de Alfonso II el Casto opposite the Oviedo Cathedral . The chapel dates from the 13th century and was renovated from the 17th century. It is the seat of the Brotherhood of the Balesquida (Cofradía de la Balesquida). The chapel also serves to honor the benefactress of the tailors' guild, which is why it is also known as the Chapel of Velasquita Giráldez.
