Balloon is a rounded cursive , often used for signage or marker writing. It is a pure capitals font and has no lowercase letters ; Light, Bold and Extra Bold are available as font styles. It was published in 1939 for American Type Founders by Max R. Kaufmann, born in Philadelphia in 1904 . The Nickelodeon logo was used by Balloon until 2009.
