The stratovolcano Baluan is located on the island of Baluan , the southernmost of the Admiralty Islands in Papua New Guinea . The island has a diameter of 5.5 km. The elliptical summit crater Sabroma has a diameter of 1 km. There are several ash cones on the flanks of the volcano . There are several hot water springs along the island's coast. There is no reliable scientific data on an outbreak.
