Banded envelopes

Banding is a process in packaging technology in which objects (products) of the same or different types are combined (bundled) into a unit with a band (a band) made of paper or plastic materials (e.g. polypropylene and polyethylene films ). Examples of products are clothes and linen, printed matter, multipacks in the food and non-food sector, fruit and vegetables or cardboard packaging or corrugated cardboard. Bundling is useful for transport reasons, among other things.

The products to be packaged are enclosed by a banding machine (also known as banding machine ) with a band that is joined (welded) either by heat or ultrasound and made of paper or plastic. The advantages of the ultrasound method include the low energy consumption and the absence of odor and heat emissions.
