The band ring is a sling from Indonesia.

The band ring consists of ropes that are braided from natural fibers. The two ends of the handle are made of round braided rope. The net around which the slingshot can be picked up consists of several thin ropes that are braided into a net. Round stones were used as projectiles. This weapon is first mentioned in the war against the British military (1812). The band ring is used by ethnic groups from Java.
