Bangda (Baxoi)

Bangda , also Bamda, Pomda ( Chinese  帮 达 镇 , Pinyin Bāngdá Zhèn ) is a large community in the Baxoi district of the city of Qamdo in the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China .

Bangda is also poetically called the "wide pastures of Bamda" (Tibetan: Pashö / དཔའ་ ཤོད་ རྫོང ) and is located on the former tea route .

Airport

Bangdas Airport was the highest airport in the world at 4334  m until September 2013 .
