The Barlaeus High School is a school in Amsterdam , whose history dates back to the year 1342nd

It is one of the five categorical grammar schools in Amsterdam, the other four are the Vossius grammar school , the St. Ignatius grammar school , the 4th grammar school and the Cygnus grammar school. It offers a classical curriculum , including studies in Latin and Greek .
