The forest extends from Eibesthal, a cadastral municipality of the district town, to the west up to 290 m above sea level. A. Hohen Neuberg . It once belonged to the Barnabitenkolleg Mistelbach and was transferred to the municipality of Mistelbach when the college was closed.
