Baron Chorley
Baron Chorley , of Kendal in the County of Westmorland , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award
The title was created on November 16, 1945 for the Labor politician Robert Chorley . He was a major law professor in the period before World War II . During the war he worked as a civil servant in various high-ranking positions.
