Baron Citrine , of Wembley in the County of Middlesex , was a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

The title was awarded on July 16, 1946 to the trade unionist Sir Walter Citrine . This was from 1925 to 1946 Secretary General of the Trades Union Congress .

The title expired when his younger son, the 3rd Baron, died in 2006.
