Baron Foley

Baron Foley , of Kidderminster in the County of Worcester , is a hereditary British title of nobility created twice in the Peerage of Great Britain .

Award

Witley Court

The title was first created on January 1, 1712 for the House of Commons Thomas Foley . The title expired when his son, the 2nd baron, died on January 8, 1766.

In the second award, the title was recreated on May 20, 1776 Thomas Foley . He was a third degree nephew of the 2nd Baron First Award. Today's title holder is his descendant Thomas Foley, 9th Baron Foley .

The historic family seat of the barons was Witley Court in Worcestershire .

The alleged title heir ( Heir Presumptive ) is the sixth cousin of the current title holder, Rupert Thomas Foley (* 1970).
