Baron Kirkwood

Baron Kirkwood , of Bearsden in the County of Dunbarton , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award

The title was created on December 22, 1951 for the Labor politician David Kirkwood . He had been a Member of the House of Commons since 1922.

Today's title holder has been his grandson David Kirkwood as 3rd Baron since 2012 .

Probable title heir ( Heir Presumptive ) is the brother of the current title holder, Hon. James Kirkwood (* 1937).
