Semillac is a French commune with a population of 72 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Jonzac and the canton of Pons (until 2015: canton of Mirambeau ). The inhabitants are called Semillacais .

geography

Semillac is about 64 kilometers north of Bordeaux . Semillac is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Consac in the north, Saint-Dizant-du-Bois in the east, Saint-Martial-de-Mirambeau in the south and Semoussac in the west and southwest.
