Le Fouilloux is a southwestern French community with 774 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Jonzac and the canton Les Trois Monts (until 2015 Montguyon ). The inhabitants are called Fouillousains .

location

Le Fouilloux is located in the south of the Saintonge about 50 kilometers northeast of Bordeaux . Le Fouilloux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Boresse-et-Martron in the north, Sauvignac in the north and northeast, La Genétouze in the east and northeast, Boscamnant in the east, Saint-Martin-de-Coux and Saint-Pierre-du-Palais in the south, Montguyon in the west and Neuvicq in the northwest.
