Cierzac is a French municipality with 307 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Jonzac and the canton of Jonzac ( Archiac until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Cierzacais .

Cierzac is located about 85 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux on the Né . Neighboring municipalities of Cierzac are Saint-Fort-sur-le-Né in the north and northeast, Saint-Palais-du-Né in the south and east and Germignac in the west.
