Saint-Ciers-du-Taillon is a French municipality with 550 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Jonzac and the canton of Pons (until 2015 Mirambeau ). The inhabitants are called Taillonnais .

Saint-Ciers-du-Taillon is surrounded by the neighboring communities Bois in the north, Plassac in the east and north-east, Consac in the east and south-east, Semoussac in the south, Saint-Thomas-de-Conac in the south-west, Sainte-Ramée in the west and south-west, Saint-Dizant-du-Gua in the west and Lorignac in the northwest.
