Germignac is a French municipality with 651 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Jonzac and the canton of Jonzac . The inhabitants are called Germignacais .
geography
Germignac is located about 88 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . Neighboring municipalities of Germignac are Salles-d'Angles in the north, Saint-Fort-sur-le-Né in the northeast, Cierzac in the east, Saint-Palais-du-Né in the southeast, Sainte-Lheune in the south, Jarnac-Champagne in the southwest as well Saint-Martial-sur-Né to the west.
