Champagnolles is a French municipality with 648 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Jonzac and the canton of Pons (until 2015: canton of Saint-Genis-de-Saintonge ). The inhabitants are called Champagnollais .
geography
Champagnolles is about 25 kilometers south of Saintes . Champagnolles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Tanzac and Givrezac in the north, Saint-Quantin-de-Rançanne in the northeast, Saint-Palais-de-Phiolin in the east, Bois in the south and southwest, Lorignac in the south, and Saint-Fort-sur-Gironde in the Southwest, Saint-Germain-du-Seudre in the west and Gémozac in the northwest.
