Expiremont is a southwestern French community with 127 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Jonzac and the canton Les Trois Monts (until 2015 Montendre ). The inhabitants are called Expiremontais .
location
Expiremont is located in the south of the Saintonge about 60 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . Expiremont is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Tugéras-Saint-Maurice in the north and north-west, Chaunac in the north-east, Pommiers-Moulons in the east, Montendre in the south and south-west and Coux in the west and south-west.
