Ozillac is a French municipality with 626 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Jonzac and the canton of Jonzac . The inhabitants are called Ozillacais .
geography
Ozillac is located about 105 kilometers south-southeast of La Rochelle on the Seugne , which borders the municipality in the northeast. Neighboring municipalities of Ozillac are Jonzac in the north and northwest, Champagnac in the north and northeast, Saint-Médard in the east, Fontaines-d'Ozillac in the south, Villexavier in the southwest and Saint-Simon-de-Bordes in the west.
